On 15th of September, 2013, CELSI will host the Citizens Pact workshop about work issues.

CELSI Frontiers Seminar on "The sources of public employees' bargaining power - the case of healthcare and education in East Central Europe" by "Imre Gergely Szabó"(Central European University, Budapest) will take place at CELSI in Bratislava on September 3, 2013 at 13.30.

Successful applicants will work in an international and interdisciplinary research environment in the fields of Human Resource Management-Organizational Behavior, Learning Analytics, Labour Economics and Policy, Lifelong Learning, Sociology of Occupations, or Knowledge Management.

CELSI hosts the Bratislava office of WageIndicator responsible for global data management and analysis. For the tasks within the WageIndicator project, we are looking for a Data Analyst (full-time) and Technical Content Manager (full-time). In addition, CELSI is looking for a part-time position in Media Officer.

On January 31, 2013, Martin Kahanec spoke at the conference "European labour markets in (the) crisis: Is there light at the end of the tunnel?" organized by the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) in Brussels.

CELSI is now accepting paper submissions from its Research Fellows and Affiliates to CELSI Discussion Paper series. Contributions from all social science disciplines, including but not limited to economics, sociology, political science, public policy, social anthropology, human geography, demography, law and social psychology, are welcome.
