Martin Kahanec has been appointed as the Chair of the Czech Government's Council for Research, Development and Innovations's Expert Panel for Social Sciences.

The mission of the Expert Panel is to verify and evaluate the output of research organizations in the Czech Republic, with the main objective of identifying the most significant research results attaining the highest quality in the respective research area.
