Guglielmo Meardi is Professor of Industrial Relations and (from September 2012) Director of the Industrial Relations Research Unit at the University of Warwick, UK. He has held visiting positions at scientific institutions in Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovenia and Spain, and has sat on the editorial boards of Work, Employment and Societies, Industrielle Beziehungen and the European Journal of Industrial Relations. He is a co-editor of Warsaw Forum of Economic Sociology and has published widely on comparative industrial relations, including: “Social failures of EU Enlargement: A Case of Workers Voting with their Feet”, Routledge 2012).
