Martin Guzi

Martin Guzi is a postdoctoral researcher at Masaryk University in Brno supported by the programme of „Employment of Best Young Scientists for International Cooperation Empowerment“. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the CERGE-EI in 2013 and he also holds MSc in Mathematics from the Comenius University in Slovakia and MA in Economics from the CERGE-EI.His research interests are labor economics and applied econometrics, with a focus on welfare driven migration, the relationship between immigration and well-being in Europe, and Chinese internal migration. Other topics include the analysis of work incentives created by social welfare systems and models of skill needs forecasting. Martin is a team member of scientific research group in the WageIndicator project.
