The conference will take place on 12th of May, 2022, in Brussels, Renaissance Hotel. Stakeholders from politics, the private sector, NGOs, trade unions and academia will convene and engage in an open dialogue about the future of the car industry.

We invite you to the final conference of the BARMIG project, 31.3. - 1.4.2022

The conference will be organized online via Zoom. Project partners as well as social partners from Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and other countries will discuss the project findings and strategies to address labour migration and migrants' rights at the Eastern border of the EU. The conference language is English, interpretation is provided into Hungarian, Polish and Slovak.

ELA report on undeclared work in the personal and household services sector released

CELSI is proud to announce that the European Labour Authority has published a long-awaited report on undeclared work in the care and other personal household services. CELSI team considerably contributed to the report to estimate the prevalence of undeclared work, its drivers, and policy approaches involving preventive and deterrence measures across the EU Member States.

CELSI team publishes national reports on Hungary and Czechia within the BARMIG project

The national reports on Hungary and Czechia assess constraints, opportunities and challenges for industrial-relations actors, which stem from the increased presence of migrant workers in four traditional sectors – healthcare, construction, hospitality and retail services and metal manufacturing, as well as services provided as part of the digitised economy (i.e., platform work).
