Barbara Surdykowska is the expert in industrial relations including their transnational dimension. She works as a researcher at the Institute of Public Affairs and CASE (Center for Social and Economic Analysis). Barbara Surdykowska is a legal advisor at the Expert Office of the National Commission NSZZ Solidarność trade union. Representative of Polish trade unions in the negotiations of the European social partners on the digitization of the work environment. Expert of the Social Dialogue Council.Among other issues, she deals with social security for workers, collective bargaining and the transnational dimension of industrial relations. Author of numerous publications on the collective dimension of labor relations, participant of international conferences (most recently: Marco Biagi Annual Conference, Modena, 2022; ADAPT Conference, Bergamo 2021).
