On 15th October, our colleague Pavol Bors participated in a working discussion in the town of Partizánske titled "Reliable Heat for a Modern City 2 - On the Path to Low-Temperature Heating Solutions Using Renewable Energy Sources", organised by the Priatelia Zeme – CEPA civic association.

The discussion focused on the technical and economic implementation, and project planning of the transformation of the town's heating system, aiming to effectively introduce renewable energy sources into the municipal heating system.

As a representative of the Institute of Public Policy at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava, he presented the results of a research project, conducted together with Marta Kahancová and Matúš Sloboda.

The research focused on mapping the attitudes of key municipal stakeholders towards the transformation of the municipal heating system and the opinions of the residents of Partizánske, with the aim of improving the interaction and communication of the town's plans with its citizens.

The research paper “Sociálny výskum - Podpora dekarbonizácie v meste Partizánske” is downloadable here:
