Daniela Andrén is Associate Professor of Economics at Örebro University School of Business, Sweden. Her main research interests are labor and health economics, with focus on the evaluation of public policies. She has written about sickness insurance, exits from the labor markets, public interventions, duration of sickness absence and their effects on earnings. A special focus of her research is to analyze the group of people born in the country of analysis in comparison with those who are born in another country. Her current research focuses on welfare persistence of Swedish-born and foreign-born households during the 1990s.
