On November 26, 2024, our colleague Pavol Bors participated in an international energy conference organized in Hungary.

The conference focused on the green and just transition of the so-called coal regions and the impact of the transition on coal mines, coal-fired power plants, and employees in this sector.

Pavol Bors, as a member of the research team of the REJEnerAXion project, presented the research results in the context of Hungary, which he has been researching for the last two years, together with our colleague Tibor M. Meszmann.

The conference was organized by the Hungarian trade unions EVDSZ and BDSZ, whom we would like to thank for the opportunity to present our findings and for their cooperation during the research project itself.
