CELSI Executive Director Marta Kahancová and CELSI Research Director Martin Kahanec participated in discussions on "The Future of Social Policy and Research" at the International Conference organized by the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research.

The conference, organized by the European Centre in celebration of its 50th anniversary and held at the UN Office in Vienna on September 26-27, brought together prominent figures from both academia and politics.

The program focused on reviewing key trends, achievements, and challenges in the field of social welfare across Europe, while also analyzing current opportunities for bridging gaps within and between societies.

Marta Kahancová contributed to Thursday’s panel discussion on “The Future of Research and Policy in Employment and Labour Mobility.”

On Friday, Martin Kahanec participated in a panel discussion on "Challenges and Insights for Future Policy and Research in the Field of Social Care."
