On September 6, the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in collaboration with the P-WILL COST Action, organized a conference titled "Platform Work and Workers’ Collective Action and Organizing."

The event, which explored issues related to platform work, worker mobilization, and collective action, included a presentation by CELSI director Marta Kahancová.

Together with her colleagues from WageIndicator, Martijn Arets and Paulien Osse, she presented a case study on the "Living Tariff" as an alternative to the Living Wage concept, specifically tailored for gig workers: “Facilitating Workers and Policy Makers in the Gig Economy to Make Better Informed Decisions.”

The conference was part of the Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab (P-WILL) COST Action, supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), an initiative that fosters research and innovation networks across Europe.
