CELSI is co-founding the new scientific association Therapolis

CELSI is participating in the founding of the new scientific association Therapolis, which wants to improve the health and quality of life in cities
The Therapolis project aims to create connections between top research teams, innovators and experts from different disciplines, countries and sectors to jointly contribute to solving problems in the field of health and quality of life in the urban environment.
Under the leadership of Martin Kahanec, Central European Labour Studies Institute (CELSI) will focus on the economic dimension of the project, together with the Economic Institute of Slovak Academy of Sciences, the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Commenius University Bratislava (FSEV UK) and the health startup Zhiva.
They will focus on the analysis of economic aspects of public health, innovation in public policy, and education, with the aim of contributing to effective solutions and policies with a direct impact on urban residents.
The Therapolis project also brings together other important partners:
- Biomedical Research Center of the Slovak Academy of Sciences
- Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University Bratislava
- Faculty of Arts, Comenius University Bratislava
- Faculty of Civil Engineering, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava
- Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies (KInIT)
