story.title

How are current efforts towards digitalization, automatization and decarbonization reshaping the metal industry? What does the experience of Germany show us and how can the V4 countries benefit from it? Can these technological advances strengthen collective bargaining?

We invite you to an online Mutual Learning Event, which offers two panel discussions of representatives of employers and employees of the metal industry from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany, including Martin Čech from KIA Motors Slovakia.

They will share with us, and each other, their experiences, plans or concerns in relation to digitalisation, automatization and decarbonisation, describe the state of collective bargaining and discuss policy recommendations for the future of social dialogue.

An introduction to the issue will be given by CELSI researcher Monika Martiskova, CELSI founder and executive director Marta Kahancova and Barbara Surdykowska from Instytut Spraw Publicznych.

Professor Gerhard Bosch will present the perspectives, challenges and opportunities of digitization, automatization and decarbonisation from a German perspective.

Mutual Learning Event will take place on June 17, from 10.00 to 12.30 (CET).
