The Central European Labour Studies Institute (CELSI) cordially invites you to a CELSI Frontiers Seminar on
„The political unrest in Ukraine: Socio-economic causes and individual responses“
be held on Friday, March 21, 2014, 14:30 – 17:00, in conference room “Galeria” (OSF building), Baštová 5, 811 03 Bratislava. The seminar will feature a keynote lecture by Dr. Ganna Vakhitova (Kyiv School of Economics and Kyiv Economics Institute).
Some of the key questions to be addressed include:
- What factors contribute to the Russian-Ukrainian political and economic divide in Ukraine?
- What is the role of ethnicity and language?
- What individual responses can be expected? Exit (emigrate) or voice (protest)?
- If it is migration, what could it imply for Slovakia?
