Martin Kahanec comments on European migration policy challenges in Budapest and Brussels

Martin Kahanec commented on the challenges and opportunities for migration policy regarding third-country workers in the EU at the EPC Single European Labour Market Project Conference “Making progress towards the completion of the Single European Labour Market” on May 28, 2013, in Brussels. In a panel on "What role for third country nationals in the mobility debate?" he addressed the economic and labor market aspects, calling for a better informed discourse and evidence-based policy-making. Kahanec spoke on a similar topic “Governing Mobility in Europe: Challenges and Opportunities” at the “Demographic change, migratory and labour market processes in South East Europe” SEEMIG conference at the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, Budapest, on May 22, 2013.
