Journalist Marián Repa summarized the contributions of researchers from the Netherlands, Slovakia, and Serbia, who gathered in Bratislava last week for a workshop as part of the JUSTMIG research project.
In his article, Repa highlights the situation in Serbia, a country with one of the highest proportions of its population working abroad, with approximately 15% of its citizens generating 7–9% of Serbia’s GDP through remittances.
The piece also sheds light on Slovakia's transformation from an emigration to an immigration country and explores trends in the Dutch labour market, where non-EU workers now represent the majority of the workforce.
