The future of work and social protection in Europe: TransEuroWorkS Final Conference in Brussels

July 20, 2026

After four years of collaborative Horizon Europe research, the TransEuroWorkS project is closing with a final conference on 17 September 2026 at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels.

CELSI Managing Director Marta Kahancová and Adam Šumichrast were part of the research team examining how digitalisation, the green transition, and international labour mobility are reshaping European labour markets and social protection systems.

Marta Kahancová will be also among the speakers presenting and discussing the project's conclusions.

Sessions will cover non-standard work, AI and the green transition, reskilling and lifelong learning, work-life balance, labour mobility, and the future of European social policy. Researchers, policymakers, social partners, and civil society are all welcome to join.
