POSTING.STAT 2.0: Increasing the level of empirical evidence through the collection and analysis of national administrative data

CELSI organised a webinar on the posting of workers to and from Slovakia, combining data-driven insights with expert discussion

March 26, 2026

Posting of workers remains a key dimension of labour mobility in the EU – with significant implications for fair working conditions, regulation, and the functioning of the single market.

Slovakia is among the leading sending countries, making this topic particularly relevant for national policy and practice.

The event, which took place on 26 March 2026, opened with a presentation by Nina Holičková (Institute of Experimental Psychology, Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences SAS, v.) who introduced the main findings of the POSTING.STAT 2.0 national report.

This was followed by Lucia Mýtna Kureková (Institute of Forecasting, CSPV SAV), who presented results from the INFO-POW project on access to information and challenges faced by posting companies.

💬 The discussion, moderated by Martin Guzi (CELSI and Masaryk University), was further enriched by an expert panel featuring:

  • Štefan Domonkos (European Labour Authority – ELA)
  • Ján Košč (KOZ SR)
  • Adam Šumichrast (CELSI)

The debate highlighted key challenges related to regulation, enforcement, and access to reliable data, as well as practical implications for employers, workers, and institutions involved in cross-border labour mobility.

📊 The webinar builds on research conducted within the POSTING.STAT 2.0 project, which brings together research institutions from across the EU to strengthen empirical knowledge on the posting of workers through the analysis of administrative data.

🙏 We would like to thank all participants for their active engagement and insightful discussion.
