BARTIME: The monetary rewards of working time dimensions in collective bargaining and in the working population
The kick-off meeting of BARTIME project
Feb. 13, 2024
On Tuesday, February 13th, the kick-off meeting for BARTIME (The Monetary Rewards of Working Time Dimensions in Collective Bargaining and in the Working Population) took place.
BARTIME marks the latest addition to the BAR-(gaining) projects led by CELSI and WageIndicator.
The project's primary objective is to address knowledge gaps related to the specifics of monetary rewards associated with non-standard working time arrangements and the corresponding agreements in collective bargaining.
To achieve this goal, BARTIME will offer a comprehensive overview of both standard and non-standard working time arrangements within collective bargaining agreements, along with their associated monetary rewards.
Additionally, the project will examine how the prevalence of these working time arrangements is influenced by various factors such as gender, age, and industry.
Furthermore, BARTIME will measure the proportion of workers' annual wage income attributable to non-standard work hours in both bargained and non-bargained working time dimensions.
The scope of the project includes analyses of 24 EU countries.
