May 16, 2024

The Kick off meeting of the project IncreMe(n)tal - Increasing Metalworkers‘ representatives’ Awareness and Skills on Mental Health Protection & Promotion in the Workplace- was held in Rome on Thursday, 16 May.

There were 27 participants, who took part in the works (in presence and in connection), coming from the different project partner countries: Spain, Turkey, Ireland, Belgium, Slovenia and Slovakia.

For each partner country, the trade union and a research centre/university are expected to participate.

Fim Cisl is coordinator of the project, supported by ADAPT as scientific and research partner.

The work was opened by National Secretary Massimiliano Nobis - project manager of the project, who in his speech raised the need for ‘the trade union to question itself on a topic, that of workers’ mental health, which unfortunately is still on the margins of our work. Fim is very proud to coordinate such an ambitious project, which sees the participation of prestigious universities and union partners, which will lead to important results'.
