- Comparative industrial relations in the Central and Eastern Europe Trade union revitalisation and Trade union organising
Dr. Adam Mrozowicki completed his PhD thesis at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) in 2009. His PhD thesis concerned life strategies of blue-collar workers after the end of state socialism in Poland. He is currently lecturer at the Institute of Sociology, University of Wrocław (Poland). In 2009–2011, he was a postdoctoral research fellow of the Foundation for Polish Science within the ‘Homing’ programme. In 2011-2013 he was granted a scholarship of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education for excellent young scholars. Since 2010 he is national correspondent of the European Industrial Relations Observatory (EIRO). Since 2009 he cooperates with European Trade Union Institute in various projects on trade union development and social dialogue. He is also the Board Member of the Research Committee 44 on Labour Movements of the International Sociological Association. His current research interests include comparative industrial relations and trade union revitalisation in Central and Eastern Europe. He has published in the European Journal of Industrial Relations, Work, Employment and Society, EMECON, Economic and Industrial Democracy.
