The international conference on Multi-Agent Data-driven Modelling in Economics (MADME 2025) was held in Venice, Italy, on May 29–30, 2025, at the Department of Economics, Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
The conference, dedicated to macroeconomic and economic models, featured keynote speakers Irene Monasterolo (Utrecht University, CEPR, WU Wien) and Sebastian Poledna (International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis – IIASA, Vienna).
CELSI researchers Monika Martišková and Jakub Barszcz presented the research project DEEPLAB, which focuses on the implications of deep decarbonization of high-emission industries on employees and the labour market.
The DEEPLAB project, supported by the European Union's NextGenerationEU programme through Slovakia's Recovery and Resilience Plan, aims to expand knowledge about the impact of European green policies on future demand for employees with different skill levels in both high-emission industries and emerging industrial sectors.
It offers a detailed perspective on future labour market developments in Slovak industry under various decarbonisation pathways.
