Strengthening European labour research: CELSI joins two new Horizon Europe consortia
Published on Feb. 19, 2026

We are delighted to share that CELSI has been successful in two highly competitive Horizon Europe calls, an achievement that reflects the continued recognition of the quality and relevance of our research agenda and our commitment to academically rigorous, policy-relevant labour studies.
This recognition closely aligns with CELSI's mission to advance cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research on labour markets and institutions, and to contribute robust evidence to policymaking in Europe, particularly in the context of inequality, democracy, and changing forms of work.
CELSI will participate as a consortium partner in the following projects:
🔹 INDEMTRUST – Inequality, Democracy and Trust (Coordinated by Central European University)
- The project examines how economic inequalities rooted in labour markets and workplaces shape democratic legitimacy, trust, political participation, and institutions across Europe.
🔹 WUNDERWORK – Work Underreported and Undeclared: Policies and Interventions (Coordinated by Utrecht University)
- This project focuses on policies and workplace interventions addressing undeclared and underdeclared work.
With projects TransEuroWorkS, EGRUiEN a INTEGRATE-DIALOGUE, CELSI will be running up to five Horizon Europe projects in parallel, further consolidating our position in the EU's flagship research and innovation programme and our long-term commitment to internationally excellent, policy-relevant research.
🙏 We thank our consortium partners for their trust and collaboration, and warmly congratulate all successful Horizon teams.
