Workers’ Mental Health in Focus: CELSI at the Final IncreMe(n)tal Training in Ankara

Oct. 10, 2025
On September 29, CELSI researcher Lenka Hanulová took part in the final transnational training session of the IncreMe(n)tal project, held at Hacettepe University in Ankara and online.
The event focused on the intersection between climate change, digitalisation, and workers’ mental health.
The training, organised by FIM-CISL in cooperation with Türk Metal Sendikası, the ADAPT Foundation, and hosted by Hacettepe University, brought together trade union representatives, researchers, and experts to explore how workers’ participation can support managing psychosocial risks in the workplace and promote healthier working environments across Europe.
Participants discussed:
🌿 the conceptual and policy framework of mental health and psychosocial risks at work,
💬 EU-level strategies for healthy workplaces,
🤝 the role of trade unions and social dialogue in mental health governance,
🧠 and key findings and lessons learned from the IncreMe(n)tal project.
The event fostered mutual learning and exchange of best practices between European institutions, trade unions, and occupational health specialists, aiming to shape future cooperation for safer, fairer, and more sustainable workplaces.
