CELSI's researcher, Pavol Bors, presented at the annual conference of SASE in Bordeaux, France️
July 7, 2026
At the 38th annual SASE Conference (SASE - The Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics), organised from 1st to 4th July on the campuses of Sciences Po Bordeaux and the University of Bordeaux, our researcher Pavol Bors presented new insights and research results from CELSI's project EGRUiEN.
He spoke within a symposium titled "Negotiating a Fourth Industrial Revolution: is Social Dialogue for Fair Green and Digital Transition possible?", to which project members contributed and which was chaired by Nathan Lillie (University of Jyväskylä, Finland).
Pavol presented a paper co-authored by CELSI researcher Monika Martišková, titled "Negotiating coal-phase out: the role of the social partners and other actors in the process of transformation".
The paper presents preliminary findings of the EGRUiEN project, focusing on social dialogue and social partnership in the transitioning energy sector, through a case study of the coal phase-out and energy transition in the Upper Nitra region of Slovakia.
