The overall objective of the DWTD is to promote decent work and tripartite cooperation between employers’ organisations, trade unions and public authorities in supporting equitable and sustainable economic and social development. The “Global Fund” for Decent Work and Tripartite Dialogue is one of the 13 programme areas financed under the Norway Grants in the period 2009-2014. In fact, with an allocation of € 8.1 million, the DWTD (Programme Area 22 (PA22)) is the smallest of the programme areas. Unlike any of the other programmes, DWTD is a so-called “global” programme, implemented in all 13 Norway Grants beneficiary countries.
CELSI is a local partner for Slovakia, responsible for managing, organizing and reviewing interviews with the beneficiaries from Slovakia. In addition, CELSI is in charge of four country profile reports (Czech republic, Hungary and Latvia) providing details on industrial relations and social dialogue in the respective country.
